Mesón Sa Tanca is a new restaurant in Mallorca, found in the town of Marratxi, north of Palma. This popular Mallorcan/Mediterranean eatery has only been open for just over a year but has already gained a loyal clientele, from locals to visitors to the island. Mesón Sa Tanca is an elegant and attractive Mallorcan restaurant built on the grounds of an old Spanish finca, offering a spacious dining area with stunning views over the large landscaped gardens outside. Run by the Calle family, a local family with many years of experience in the restaurant world, Mesón Sa Tanca is a relaxing place to enjoy a meal with the family or a group of friends. Sundays are particularly busy, when locals, on a family day out, fill the tables at lunchtime .As for the menu, Mallorcan and Mediterranean specialties are the theme with succulent steaks and fresh fish as well as excellent paellas. The veal, lamb and beef are exceptional as are the grilled quails. Those with children are very well catered for, the restaurant has its own kiddies play park.
