Los Arrieros is an attractive traditional Spanish restaurant situated in the heart of Madrid, close to the Royal Palace and the Opera. Unusually set out over two different areas, Los Arrieros boasts its own unique piece of history, one of the areas used to be the studio of the artist Don Gerardo Rueda and some of his original work and décor has been maintained. Both parts feature their own entrance, with Rueda’s side comprising of various dining rooms of differing sizes, perfect for group meals, small or large. The other side offers a small bar area as well as small dining rooms where breakfast or one of Los Arrieros moderately priced set lunches (10,20Euros) can be enjoyed. As for the food, Los Arrieros offers a menu full of traditional Spanish cuisine including house specials such as fillet of deer, stuffed sweet peppers, salted meat from Astorga and loin of ox.
