Celler de La Parra is an interesting Mallorcan restaurant found in Pollenca, Mallorca and is based in what was once a huge wine cellar. Wine was traditionally made and sold in the cellar and at night men would bring their dinners from home and dine inside accompanied by as much wine as they could drink at the “table of the drunks”. These days, owners Jaime and Alex have created a homely and traditional restaurant, offering a warm and friendly rustic environment. Everything served in Celler de la Parra is made fresh on the premises with a menu full of typical Mallorcan dishes such as trampo salad, tumbet, pa amb oli and some superb rice dishes. There is a great selection of fresh fish available and a good choice of meat dishes ranging from roast suckling pig to rabbit. The wine list features some fine Mallorcan examples as well as plenty of national choices. Celler de la Parra is a favourite amongst the locals of Pollenca, and is the perfect destination to sample traditional Mallorcan cooking of a high standard.
