Al Natural is a superb spanish organic vegetarian restaurant situated in the very centre of Madrid. This restaurant opened its doors in 1994 and offers over 60 healthy dishes made from organic products, some of which have been grown in the restaurants very own garden on the outskirts of Madrid. The idea here is not all about vegetarianism however, it is more healthy living and healthy eating, which is why the menu does also include non vegetarian dishes. The décor at Al Natural is rustic with huge baskets of fruit and vegetables hanging from the beamed ceilings, comfortable wooden tables and chairs and huge arched windows. Soft music and candlelight at night create a warm and cosy atmosphere. The food is wholesome and tasty with dishes like vegetable paella, mushroom stroganoff and courgette tart and desserts such as raspberry cheesecake and fruit pudding. There is an incredibly priced midweek lunch menu for just 11 Euros and considering the location of this restaurant (just 5 minutes from the Prado museum) and the quality of the food you really can’t go wrong. Al Natural is perfect for any veggies out there but is also a great option for anyone looking for some healthy food whilst out and about in Madrid.
